MahāpaƱƱāsutta Great Wisdom

ā€œCattārome, bhikkhave, dhammā bhāvitā bahulÄ«katā mahāpaƱƱatāya saṁvattanti. ā€œMendicants, when four things are developed and cultivated they lead to great wisdom.

Katame cattāro? What four?

Sappurisasaṁsevo, saddhammassavanaṁ, yonisomanasikāro, dhammānudhammappaį¹­ipatti—Associating with true persons, listening to the true teaching, rational application of mind, and practicing in line with the teaching.

ime kho, bhikkhave, cattāro dhammā bhāvitā bahulÄ«katā mahāpaƱƱatāya saṁvattantÄ«ā€ti. When these four things are developed and cultivated they lead to great wisdom.ā€
