Nīghasutta Troubles

ā€œTayome, bhikkhave, nÄ«ghā. ā€œMendicants, there are these three troubles.

Katame tayo? What three?

Rāgo nÄ«gho, doso nÄ«gho, moho nÄ«gho—Greed, hate, and delusion.

ime kho, bhikkhave, tayo nīghā. These are the three troubles.

Imesaṁ kho, bhikkhave, tiṇṇannaṁ nÄ«ghānaṁ abhiƱƱāya pariƱƱāya parikkhayāya pahānāya …pe… ayaṁ ariyo aį¹į¹haį¹…giko maggo bhāvetabboā€ti. The noble eightfold path should be developed for the direct knowledge, complete understanding, finishing, and giving up of these three troubles.ā€

Aṭṭhamaṁ.
