Ajjhattikāyatanaparijānanasutta Complete Understanding of the Interior

ā€œCakkhuṁ, bhikkhave, anabhijānaṁ aparijānaṁ avirājayaṁ appajahaṁ abhabbo dukkhakkhayāya. ā€œMendicants, without directly knowing and completely understanding the eye, without dispassion for it and giving it up, you can’t end suffering.
