Rūpasañcetanāsutta Intention

Sāvatthinidānaṁ. At Sāvatthī.

ā€œRÅ«pasaƱcetanā, bhikkhave, aniccā vipariṇāmÄ« aƱƱathābhāvÄ«; ā€œMendicants, intention regarding sights is impermanent, decaying, and perishing.

saddasaƱcetanā … Intention regarding sounds,

gandhasaƱcetanā … intention regarding smells,

rasasaƱcetanā … intention regarding tastes,

phoį¹­į¹­habbasaƱcetanā … intention regarding touches,

dhammasaƱcetanā aniccā vipariṇāmÄ« aƱƱathābhāvÄ«. and intentions regarding ideas are impermanent, decaying, and perishing.

Yo, bhikkhave, ime dhamme evaṁ saddahati adhimuccati, ayaṁ vuccati ā€˜saddhānusārÄ« …pe… Someone who has faith and confidence in these teachings is called a follower by faith. ā€¦ā€

sambodhiparāyanoā€™ā€ti.
