Ekamantaį¹ nisinno kho ÄyasmÄ rÄdho bhagavantaį¹ etadavoca: Seated to one side, Venerable RÄdha said to the Buddha:
āāanattÄ, anattÄāti, bhante, vuccati. āSir, they speak of this thing called ānot-selfā.
Katamo nu kho, bhante, anattÄāti? What is not-self?ā
āRÅ«paį¹ kho, rÄdha, anattÄ, vedanÄ anattÄ, saĆ±Ć±Ä anattÄ, saį¹
khÄrÄ anattÄ, viƱƱÄį¹aį¹ anattÄ. āRÄdha, form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness are not-self.
