Anudhammasutta In Line With the Teachings

Sāvatthinidānaṁ. At Sāvatthī.

ā€œDhammānudhammappaį¹­ipannassa, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno ayamanudhammo hoti ā€œMendicants, when a mendicant is practicing in line with the teachings, this is what’s in line with the teachings.

yaṁ rÅ«pe nibbidābahulo vihareyya, vedanāya nibbidābahulo vihareyya, saƱƱāya nibbidābahulo vihareyya, saį¹…khāresu nibbidābahulo vihareyya, viññāṇe nibbidābahulo vihareyya. They should live full of disillusionment for form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness.

Yo rÅ«pe nibbidābahulo viharanto, vedanāya … saƱƱāya … saį¹…khāresu nibbidābahulo viharanto, viññāṇe nibbidābahulo viharanto rÅ«paṁ parijānāti, vedanaṁ … saƱƱaṁ … saį¹…khāre … viññāṇaṁ parijānāti, Living in this way, they completely understand form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness.

so rÅ«paṁ parijānaṁ, vedanaṁ … saƱƱaṁ … saį¹…khāre … viññāṇaṁ parijānaṁ parimuccati rÅ«pamhā, parimuccati vedanāya, parimuccati saƱƱāya, parimuccati saį¹…khārehi, parimuccati viññāṇamhā, Completely understanding form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness, they’re freed from these things.

parimuccati jātiyā jarāmaraṇena sokehi paridevehi dukkhehi domanassehi upāyāsehi, parimuccati dukkhasmāti vadāmÄ«ā€ti. They’re freed from rebirth, old age, and death, from sorrow, lamentation, pain, sadness, and distress. They’re freed from suffering, I say.ā€
