ā€œPariƱƱeyye ca, bhikkhave, dhamme desessāmi pariƱƱaƱca. ā€œMendicants, I will teach you the things that should be completely understood, and complete understanding.

Katame ca, bhikkhave, pariƱƱeyyā dhammā? And what things should be completely understood?

RÅ«paṁ, bhikkhave, pariƱƱeyyo dhammo, vedanā pariƱƱeyyo dhammo, saƱƱā pariƱƱeyyo dhammo, saį¹…khārā pariƱƱeyyo dhammo, viññāṇaṁ pariƱƱeyyo dhammo. Form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness.

Ime vuccanti, bhikkhave, pariƱƱeyyā dhammā. These are called the things that should be completely understood.

Katamā ca, bhikkhave, pariƱƱā? And what is complete understanding?

Yo, bhikkhave, rāgakkhayo dosakkhayo mohakkhayo. The ending of greed, hate, and delusion.

Ayaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, pariĆ±Ć±Äā€ti. This is called complete understanding.ā€
