Saṇamānasutta Whispering Murmuring

ā€œį¹¬hite majjhanhike kāle, ā€œIn the still of high noon, ā€œWhen the noon hour sets in

sannisīvesu pakkhisu; when the birds have settled down, And the birds have settled down,

Saṇateva brahāraƱƱaṁ, the mighty forest itself resounds—The mighty forest itself murmurs:

taṁ bhayaṁ paį¹­ibhāti manā€ti. that strikes me as so scary!ā€ How fearful that appears to me!ā€
