ā€œNanu, bhante nāgasena, cittena sarati no satiyāā€ti? ā€œIs it not, venerable Nāgasena, that one remembers with one’s mind and not with mindfulness?ā€

ā€œAbhijānāsi nu tvaṁ, mahārāja, kiƱcideva karaṇīyaṁ katvā pamuį¹į¹hanā€ti? ā€œDo you not know personally, your majesty, about some task you have done and have forgotten?ā€

ā€œKiṁ nu kho tvaṁ, mahārāja, tasmiṁ samaye acittako ahosÄ«ā€ti? ā€œThen were you, your majesty, on that occasion without a mind?ā€
