āAriyaį¹ vo, bhikkhave, paccorohaį¹iį¹ desessÄmi. āMendicants, I will teach you the noble descent.
Taį¹ suį¹Ätha ā¦ Listen and apply your mind well, I will speak. ā¦
katamÄ ca, bhikkhave, ariyÄ paccorohaį¹Ä«? And what is the noble descent?
Idha, bhikkhave, ariyasÄvako iti paį¹isaƱcikkhati: Itās when a noble disciple reflects:
āmicchÄdiį¹į¹hiyÄ kho pÄpako vipÄkoāāWrong view has a bad result
diį¹į¹he ceva dhamme abhisamparÄyaƱcÄāti. in both this life and the next.ā
So iti paį¹isaį¹
khÄya micchÄdiį¹į¹hiį¹ pajahati; Reflecting like this, they give up wrong view,
micchÄdiį¹į¹hiyÄ paccorohati. they descend from wrong view.

Ayaį¹ vuccati, bhikkhave, ariyÄ paccorohaį¹Ä«āti. This is called the noble descent.ā
