āRÄgassa, bhikkhave, abhiƱƱÄya nava dhammÄ bhÄvetabbÄ. āFor insight into greed, nine things should be developed.
Katame nava? What nine?
Paį¹hamaį¹ jhÄnaį¹, dutiyaį¹ jhÄnaį¹, tatiyaį¹ jhÄnaį¹, catutthaį¹ jhÄnaį¹, ÄkÄsÄnaƱcÄyatanaį¹, viƱƱÄį¹aƱcÄyatanaį¹, ÄkiƱcaƱƱÄyatanaį¹, nevasaƱƱÄnÄsaƱƱÄyatanaį¹, saƱƱÄvedayitanirodhoāThe first absorption, the second absorption, the third absorption, the fourth absorption, the dimension of infinite space, the dimension of infinite consciousness, the dimension of nothingness, the dimension of neither perception nor non-perception, and the cessation of perception and feeling.
rÄgassa, bhikkhave, abhiƱƱÄya ime nava dhammÄ bhÄvetabbÄāti. For insight into greed, these nine things should be developed.ā
