PaƱƱāsutta Consolidated by Wisdom

ā€œYato kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno paƱƱāya cittaṁ suparicitaṁ hoti, tassetaṁ, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno kallaṁ vacanāya: ā€œMendicants, when a mendicant’s mind has been well consolidated with wisdom it’s appropriate for them to say:

ā€˜khīṇā jāti, vusitaṁ brahmacariyaṁ, kataṁ karaṇīyaṁ, nāparaṁ itthattāyāti pajānāmī’ti. ā€˜I understand: ā€œRebirth is ended, the spiritual journey has been completed, what had to be done has been done, there is nothing further for this place.ā€ā€™

KathaƱca, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno paƱƱāya cittaṁ suparicitaṁ hoti? And how is a mendicant’s mind well consolidated with wisdom?

ā€˜VÄ«tarāgaṁ me cittan’ti paƱƱāya cittaṁ suparicitaṁ hoti; The mind is well consolidated with wisdom when they know: ā€˜My mind is without greed.’

ā€˜vÄ«tadosaṁ me cittan’ti paƱƱāya cittaṁ suparicitaṁ hoti; … ā€˜My mind is without hate.’

ā€˜vÄ«tamohaṁ me cittan’ti paƱƱāya cittaṁ suparicitaṁ hoti; … ā€˜My mind is without delusion.’

ā€˜asarāgadhammaṁ me cittan’ti paƱƱāya cittaṁ suparicitaṁ hoti; … ā€˜My mind is not liable to become greedy.’

ā€˜asadosadhammaṁ me cittan’ti paƱƱāya cittaṁ suparicitaṁ hoti; … ā€˜My mind is not liable to become hateful.’

ā€˜asamohadhammaṁ me cittan’ti paƱƱāya cittaṁ suparicitaṁ hoti; … ā€˜My mind is not liable to become deluded.’

ā€˜anāvattidhammaṁ me cittaṁ kāmabhavāyā’ti paƱƱāya cittaṁ suparicitaṁ hoti; … ā€˜My mind is not liable to return to rebirth in the sensual realm.’

ā€˜anāvattidhammaṁ me cittaṁ rÅ«pabhavāyā’ti paƱƱāya cittaṁ suparicitaṁ hoti; … ā€˜My mind is not liable to return to rebirth in the realm of luminous form.’

ā€˜anāvattidhammaṁ me cittaṁ arÅ«pabhavāyā’ti paƱƱāya cittaṁ suparicitaṁ hoti. … ā€˜My mind is not liable to return to rebirth in the formless realm.’

Yato kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno paƱƱāya cittaṁ suparicitaṁ hoti, tassetaṁ, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno kallaṁ vacanāya: When a mendicant’s mind has been well consolidated with wisdom it’s appropriate for them to say:
