āSattime, bhikkhave, adhikaraį¹asamathÄ dhammÄ uppannuppannÄnaį¹ adhikaraį¹Änaį¹ samathÄya vÅ«pasamÄya. āMendicants, there are these seven principles for the settlement of any disciplinary issues that might arise.
Katame satta? What seven?
SammukhÄvinayo dÄtabbo, sativinayo dÄtabbo, amÅ«įø·havinayo dÄtabbo, paį¹iƱƱÄtakaraį¹aį¹ dÄtabbaį¹, yebhuyyasikÄ dÄtabbÄ, tassapÄpiyasikÄ dÄtabbÄ, tiį¹avatthÄrako dÄtabbo. Resolution face-to-face to be applied. Resolution through recollection to be granted. Resolution because of past insanity to be granted. Acting according to what has been admitted. Majority decision. Further penalty. Covering over as if with grass.
