Tatiyaabhabbaį¹­į¹­hānasutta Things That Can’t Be Done (3rd)

ā€œChayimāni, bhikkhave, abhabbaį¹­į¹­hānāni. ā€œMendicants, these six things can’t be done.

Abhabbo diį¹­į¹­hisampanno puggalo mātaraṁ jÄ«vitā voropetuṁ, abhabbo diį¹­į¹­hisampanno puggalo pitaraṁ jÄ«vitā voropetuṁ, abhabbo diį¹­į¹­hisampanno puggalo arahantaṁ jÄ«vitā voropetuṁ, abhabbo diį¹­į¹­hisampanno puggalo tathāgatassa duį¹­į¹­hena cittena lohitaṁ uppādetuṁ, abhabbo diį¹­į¹­hisampanno puggalo saį¹…ghaṁ bhindituṁ, abhabbo diį¹­į¹­hisampanno puggalo aƱƱaṁ satthāraṁ uddisituṁ. A person accomplished in view can’t murder their mother or father or a perfected one. They can’t maliciously shed the blood of the Realized One. They can’t cause a schism in the Saį¹…gha. They can’t dedicate themselves to another teacher.

Imāni kho, bhikkhave, cha abhabbaį¹­į¹­hānānÄ«ā€ti. These are the six things that can’t be done.ā€
