āChahi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannÄgato suį¹antopi saddhammaį¹ abhabbo niyÄmaį¹ okkamituį¹ kusalesu dhammesu sammattaį¹. āMendicants, someone with six qualities is unable to enter the sure path with regards to skillful qualities even when listening to the true teaching.

TathÄgatappavedite dhammavinaye desiyamÄne na sussÅ«sati, na sotaį¹ odahati, na aĆ±Ć±Ä cittaį¹ upaį¹į¹hÄpeti, anatthaį¹ gaį¹hÄti, atthaį¹ riƱcati, ananulomikÄya khantiyÄ samannÄgato hoti. When the teaching and practice proclaimed by the Realized One is being taught they donāt want to listen. They donāt actively listen or try to understand. They learn the incorrect meaning and reject the correct meaning. They accept views that contradict the teaching.
Imehi kho, bhikkhave, chahi dhammehi samannÄgato suį¹antopi saddhammaį¹ abhabbo niyÄmaį¹ okkamituį¹ kusalesu dhammesu sammattaį¹. Someone with these six qualities is unable to enter the sure path with regards to skillful qualities, even when listening to the true teaching.
