āPaƱcime, bhikkhave, dhamme appahÄya abhabbo dutiyaį¹ jhÄnaį¹ ā¦peā¦ abhabbo tatiyaį¹ jhÄnaį¹ ā¦ abhabbo catutthaį¹ jhÄnaį¹ ā¦ abhabbo sotÄpattiphalaį¹ ā¦ abhabbo sakadÄgÄmiphalaį¹ ā¦ abhabbo anÄgÄmiphalaį¹ ā¦ abhabbo arahattaį¹ sacchikÄtuį¹. āMendicants, without giving up these five qualities you canāt enter and remain in the second absorption ā¦ third absorption ā¦ fourth absorption ā¦ or realize the fruit of stream-entry ā¦ the fruit of once-return ā¦ the fruit of non-return ā¦ perfection.

Ime kho, bhikkhave, paƱca dhamme appahÄya abhabbo arahattaį¹ sacchikÄtuį¹. Without giving up these five qualities you canāt realize perfection.
