Catutthavohārasutta Expressions (4th)

ā€œCattārome, bhikkhave, ariyavohārā. ā€œMendicants, there are these four noble expressions.

Katame cattāro? What four?

Diį¹­į¹­he diį¹­į¹­havāditā, sute sutavāditā, mute mutavāditā, viƱƱāte viƱƱātavāditā—Saying you’ve seen, heard, thought, or known something, and you have.

Ime kho, bhikkhave, cattāro ariyavohārÄā€ti. These are the four noble expressions.ā€

Ekādasamaṁ.

Āpattibhayavaggo paƱcamo.

Tassuddānaṁ

Bhedaāpatti sikkhā ca,

seyyā thūpārahena ca;

PaƱƱāvuddhi bahukārā,

vohārā caturo ṭhitāti.

PaƱcamo paṇṇāsako samatto.
