Idha, bhikkhave, ekacco bhadro assÄjÄnÄ«yo patodacchÄyaį¹ disvÄ saį¹vijjati saį¹vegaį¹ Äpajjati: One fine thoroughbred is moved to act when it sees the shadow of the goad, thinking:
ākiį¹ nu kho maį¹ ajja assadammasÄrathi kÄraį¹aį¹ kÄressati, kimassÄhaį¹ paį¹ikaromÄ«āti. āWhat task will the horse trainer have me do today? How should I respond?ā
