āTÄ«hi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannÄgato yathÄbhataį¹ nikkhitto evaį¹ niraye. āSomeone with three qualities is cast down to hell.
Katamehi tīhi? What three?
AttanÄ ca pÄį¹ÄtipÄtÄ« hoti, paraƱca pÄį¹ÄtipÄte samÄdapeti, pÄį¹ÄtipÄte ca samanuƱƱo hoti. They themselves kill living creatures. They encourage others to kill living creatures. And they approve of killing living creatures.
Imehi kho, bhikkhave, tÄ«hi dhammehi samannÄgato yathÄbhataį¹ nikkhitto evaį¹ niraye. Someone with these three qualities is cast down to hell.
TÄ«hi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannÄgato yathÄbhataį¹ nikkhitto evaį¹ sagge. Someone with three qualities is raised up to heaven.
