Paį¹hamamoranivÄpasutta At the Peacocksā Feeding Ground (1st)
Ekaį¹ samayaį¹ bhagavÄ rÄjagahe viharati moranivÄpe paribbÄjakÄrÄme. At one time the Buddha was staying near RÄjagaha, at the monastery of the wanderers in the peacocksā feeding ground.
Tatra kho bhagavÄ bhikkhÅ« Ämantesi: There the Buddha addressed the mendicants,
ābhikkhavoāti. āMendicants!ā
āBhadanteāti te bhikkhÅ« bhagavato paccassosuį¹. āVenerable sir,ā they replied.
BhagavÄ etadavoca: The Buddha said this:
āTÄ«hi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannÄgato bhikkhu accantaniį¹į¹ho hoti accantayogakkhemÄ« accantabrahmacÄrÄ« accantapariyosÄno seį¹į¹ho devamanussÄnaį¹. āMendicants, a mendicant with three qualities has reached the ultimate end, the ultimate sanctuary from the yoke, the ultimate spiritual life, the ultimate goal. They are the best among gods and humans.

Asekkhena sÄ«lakkhandhena, asekkhena samÄdhikkhandhena, asekkhena paƱƱÄkkhandhena. The entire spectrum of an adeptās ethics, immersion, and wisdom.
Imehi kho, bhikkhave, tÄ«hi dhammehi samannÄgato bhikkhu accantaniį¹į¹ho hoti accantayogakkhemÄ« accantabrahmacÄrÄ« accantapariyosÄno seį¹į¹ho devamanussÄnanāti. A mendicant with these three qualities has reached the ultimate end, the ultimate sanctuary from the yoke, the ultimate spiritual life, the ultimate goal. They are the best among gods and humans.ā
