āYe te, bhikkhave, bhikkhÅ« anÄpattiį¹ ÄpattÄ«ti dÄ«penti te, bhikkhave, bhikkhÅ« bahujanaahitÄya paį¹ipannÄ bahujanaasukhÄya, bahuno janassa anatthÄya ahitÄya dukkhÄya devamanussÄnaį¹. āMendicants, those mendicants who explain non-offense as an offense are acting for the detriment and suffering of the people, against the people, for the harm, detriment, and suffering of gods and humans.
BahuƱca te, bhikkhave, bhikkhÅ« apuƱƱaį¹ pasavanti, te cimaį¹ saddhammaį¹ antaradhÄpentÄ«āti. They create much wickedness and make the true teaching disappear.ā
